This workshop will cover how to get started brewing your own kombucha, issues and troubleshooting. Each attendee will take home a container with starter culture. This workshop is held outdoors, under shade trees, weather permitting.

Kombucha is a traditional fermented tea beverage, which has been around for centuries, is loaded with gut loving probiotics, enzymes, vitamins, and essential acids for the body.

We will discuss how to get started brewing your own, what issues may arise and how to troubleshoot them. Each person will take home a container with starter culture.

Please bring something to take notes with and a reusable cup for sampling.

Cost is $35.00 per adult, $60.00 for couple/family, and $15.00 per child (12-17); Pre-registration and payment is required.

Minimum class size is 5.

This class is held in a 2,000 sq. ft. open classroom space, with a COVID-19 seating-compliant capacity of 45 persons. All items and materials used in class will be sanitary upon attendees arrival.

Parking is in public parking only on W. Dearborn St., or in the Public Parking lot off Cedar Street behind Comadres Mexican Restaurant (the pink place directly across the street from The Dearborn Center.)
